Abstract

In this chapter we consider the mean energy E and entropy S together. As it was already mentioned in the Introduction to the book, we introduce the functional \( F = \lambda E (p,q)\,+\,S(p,q)\) where \(\lambda= -1/(kT),\) k is the Boltzmann constant, T is temperature.
