Abstract

Acute right heart failure (RV-F) [overview by 1, 2] is defined by haemodynamic parameters and the haemodynamic behaviour of the right ventricle, but results in a reduced right ventricular stroke volume [3]: RVEDV ↑ — ↑↑↑ and at the same time ↓ — ↓↓↓ RV-EF, and RV-SV ↓ — ↓↓↓
