Abstract

The objective of our work is to design a Serious Game especially dedicated to accompany the teaching of the cell biology module, in order to allow students to compensate for the lack of practical activities, on the other hand, we want to make the teaching of experimental sciences more innovative by integrating the principles of Serious Games, active pedagogy and hybrid teaching. The Serious Game is built on a pedagogical scenario, in order to respect the goal and learning objectives of the module, which are divided into learning activities and evaluation activities.

In our case, designing the Serious Game is part of a pedagogical engineering work that articulates the Serious Game in a complex device including a hybrid teaching via a learning management system that alternates in-class and out-of-class activities for a model of flipped pedagogy.
