Abstract

The assessment of the voice and respiratory function is made in the clinical setting. Auditory perception coupled with endoscopic visualization of the vocal folds remains the mainstay practice. Further investigations may be performed to obtain more details, in order to aid diagnosis and/or monitor the outcomes of therapeutic intervention.
