Abstract

The article presents design and experimental validation of a thermal actuator based on peltier cell control. The experiments showed the possibility of fine adjustment of large-scale objects in the working range of 24 µm with a sub-micrometer resolution capability. We have proved the main body of the actuator is not affected with heat effects during the actuator control.
