Abstract

There are many kinds of traditional patterns of ethnic minorities in Qiannan, with rich and colorful contents and forms. The simple and vivid ethnic patterns reflect the yearning of ethnic minorities for a better life. This paper first introduces the pattern generation technology based on pal, and then describes the pattern generation technology based on shape grammar. Shape grammar technology is a shape system that generates new patterns based on the original patterns according to the defined rules. The system can automatically generate new patterns according to the preset ideas and composition. The pattern generation technology based on pal is similar to shape grammar It is of great significance to the protection, development and utilization of national traditional pattern culture.
