Abstract

This article explores and reviews the models and frameworks proposed based on a literature research to contrast and equate the evolution of the Demand Management (DM) within the Agri-food Supply Chain Management (SCM), and the proposals involved in linking integration management at all levels. The literature review illustrates the agri-food area has not taken a representative role in the development of modeling proposals or specialized frameworks in the sector that lead on how to correctly manage demand. An appraisal and application model are proposed, based on the structures and models reviewed, on the key processes or activities of DM and its main attributes and metrics in the agribusiness.
