Abstract
A detailed visit to the most famous of the places where Feng Shui was applied as the main canon governing the landscape and the architectural projects. It is the valley of the Thirteen tombs of the Emperors of the Ming dynasty in Shisanling, not far from Beijing. The relationship of the tomb’s projects with the landscape are highlighted, as well as the symbolic structure of the unique underground palace ever excavated, that of the Dingling tomb.
