Abstract
In this book, the control of grid-connected DFIG based Wind Turbine and grid-connected microgrid under normal and abnormal grid conditions is investigated. In order to reach the main purposes, three control schemes are developed for the Doubly Fed Induction Generator Rotor Side Converter and Grid Side Converter which are: Neural Sliding Mode Field Oriented Control, Neural Sliding Mode Linearization Control, and Neural Inverse Optimal Control. A neural identifiers system is used to approximate the controlled dynamics and based on such identifiers, the controllers are synthesized.
