Abstract

One of the most important tasks assigned to Kepler by Tycho Brahe was, as already mentioned, the evaluation of his Mars data. This data concerned the positions and trajectories of that planet, not so much the characteristics of its surface or the composition of its atmosphere, which the instruments of that time would not have been able to measure.
