Abstract
Supply chain agility is a critical contributor to the companies’ performance. It enables them to deal with the challenges of a dynamic and complex business environment. Today’s companies due to be agile in the turbulent market should be aware of the essential factors of agility. The purpose of this paper is to identify the most important ones between supply chain agility factors and assigns a weight to each factor representing its relative importance. To achieve this objective and to extract agility factors, first the research literature has been reviewed in detail. Then, significance coefficient of factors was determined according to the opinions of the cement industry and academic experts using fuzzy network analysis process. The result of this research shows, the factors ‘planning’ and ‘network orientation’ form the basis of agility in supply chains. These two factors are also of the highest importance within the model.
