Abstract

The paper focuses on the issues of improving the management of the agro-industrial complex, which is a condition for increasing the efficiency of its industrial and financial activities. Our research shows that the processes of economic development, including in the agricultural sector, are determined by the quality of the management system. Regional agribusiness is one of the main elements of the entire agribusiness management system, which essence is to establish the optimal ratios of individual blocks, modules of the production vertical, and structural horizontal. The functioning of these regional agribusiness management units is based on a rational combination of integration and cooperation in the agricultural sector, integrated information systems, price and financial-credit mechanisms, budget support and investments. In the proposed model for managing regional agribusinesses on the principles of state regulation, the priority role belongs to state bodies, which allows us to establish intersectoral and interregional ties in contemporary conditions.
