Abstract

In this chapter we introduce the basic concepts of fuzzy transform (F-transform, for short). In the first paragraph, the basics concerning fuzzy sets and fuzzy relationships are discussed. Then the concepts of fuzzy partition, uniform and h-uniform fuzzy partitions are introduced. The direct and inverse F-transform definitions are given and the discrete F-transform concept is presented.
