Abstract

This chapter reflects on the impact of the Lord’s Prayer on Western societies. It connects the Holy Trinity as a myth with the role of Martín-Santos’ main male characters and their function either in accepting or disrupting Western myths with the aim of “demystifying” patriarchy as a valid frame.
