Abstract
As Monte Carlo is a statistical method, the accuracy of its results depends on the number of simulated electron trajectories and on the pseudo-random number generator used to perform the simulations. We will briefly summarize how pseudo-random numbers can be generated. We will describe, as well, how to calculate selected random number distributions that are particularly relevant for the Monte Carlo method purposes [1].
