Abstract

“IoT (Internet of Things) is described as a smart connection, which can track the real-world objects remotely through the internet. The HAS (Home Automation System) is a concept to adopt a safe, smart and automated smart homes into existence. This project mainly focuses on increasing safety and security for the old age people, who are really in need of automation in their day to day life. To achieve reduced human intervention, power consumption, cost and for the communication between the devices we use emerging technologies such as sustainable energy resources (Solar) and Zigbee. The Zigbee is used to create a wireless network, in this project we have implemented two modules which are located inside and outside the home. When there is a movement sensed outside the home the people at home get a notification and take precautions before anything big happens at a very reasonable rate. The Zigbee collects the data systematically at the central location via Wi-Fi and performs the analysis on the data”.
