How to Teach a Course in Research Methods for Psychology Students

Abstract

Writing exams for a research methods class in psychology can be a difficult task. The class is already intensive and exams tend to add to that stress. According to Bloom’s taxonomy, exams can test for knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. This chapter will focus on multiple-choice exams, essay exams, and project-based exams.
