Abstract
The first day of the class is over, and it is now time to focus on the material. This chapter will focus on the daily mechanics of what is taught during each week of class. That includes both lecture topics and lab assignments. Since a research method class typically meets about 6 h a week, you have a lot of time to work with students. That time can be used to teach material, for classroom activities, and to focus on lab assignments. This chapter will cover all these elements.
