Abstract

This paper introduces a data hiding scheme consisting an adaptive threshold part based on difference expansion (DE) method. The threshold value is calculated based on image parameters such as, peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR), structural similarity index measure (SSIM) and payload capacity to obtain expected visual quality embedded image. Simulation verification using MATLAB 2015 for different test images are also presented. The simulation results clearly demonstrated that the data hiding scheme provides good quality of visual perception along with high value of payload.
