Abstract
Eyelid ectropion is present when the lid margin is displaced outward from the ocular surface. This eyelid malposition is commonly encountered in clinical practice and generally affects the lower eyelid. The etiologies of eyelid ectropion include involutional, cicatricial, paralytic, mechanical, and congenital disorders; however, multifactorial causes are frequently present.
