Abstract
Shortly after Jayme Tiomno and Elisa Frota-Pessôa arrived back in Brazil from their sojourn in London, a new decade began—the 1960s. That decade was a turbulent time in the lives and careers of Jayme and Elisa, reflecting wider events in Brazil and throughout the world in those years. As far as Tiomno’s own activities are concerned, we can divide those ten years roughly into three periods.
