Abstract
The starting point for this book was that I was asked to give a course on Digital Transformation. You might think that shouldn’t be difficult in view of all that has been written on the subject. However, most of what I found in articles and blogs was marketing and sales material for particular companies and products. It wasn’t suitable for a course aiming to give students, or anyone else, a general introduction to Digital Transformation. As a result, creating the course took longer than expected. I wasn’t very happy with this first version of the course, and I redeveloped it twice. Once the course was running well, the students asked about a course book. Their request led to this book.
