Abstract
The article describes the influence of the time structure of aluminum castings production on the overall efficiency of the production process. Emphasis is placed on regular monitoring of the time consumption of all production operations, which constitute the production process of aluminum castings. It points out the development of the efficiency of the production process with an accent on the principle of the minimum of this indicator, by means of which it is possible to economically quantify the consumption of production factors in interaction with the economic evaluation of produced aluminum castings within 5 years. From the results of the analysis of the consumption of time of partial production operations, it identifies critical points of the production process, which have a negative impact on the production efficiency of aluminum castings. Based on the selected quantifiers, i.e., the use of the worker and the loss of time required to estimate the increase of the efficiency of production, the percentage of the total production time, which is undesirable in the process, is quantified. In the conclusion, there is a general management model of production time management that streamlines the manufacturing process which integrates the quantifiers of batch consumption time, or the production cycle, including the need for monitoring and periodic evaluation.
