Abstract

In the present chapter, the central role will be played by isolated singularities of complex functions. By “singularity” we mean the point of non-holomorphicity of a given function. The detailed classification of singularities is given in the solution of the first problem. In the second section, examples of problems with singularities are dealt with from the point of view of the Laurent series.
