Abstract
The chapter analyzes the developmental trends in the institutional environment of the Russian civil society within the context of state regulation of socioeconomic activity based on the neo-institutional methodology. Based on an analysis of the institutional environment of the Russian society, we offer recommendations aimed at improving the quality of public administration in terms of development of the Russian civil society.
