Abstract

As a principle, all mechanical problems can be solved by using Newton’s three laws alone. However, this method may often be complicated or difficult to interpret. On the other hand, using concepts such as work, energy and momentum, which are closer to our daily intuitions, we can both work in an easier manner and also make interpretations that are more easily adoptable for technology.
