Abstract
The teachers of the focus group students were interviewed individually, and their responses are presented, discussed and compared here. Similarities and differences between them, and in relation to their students’ observations, are commented upon. Issues of social class are discussed differently, as are those relating to other collectivities. There appears a distinct nation-based dichotomy of attitudes towards systemic problems and their resolution, and towards the effectiveness of teachers’ employing institutions.
