Abstract
The mathematics (including some tricks) needed to understand classical thermodynamics and to carry out useful calculations in order to solve thermodynamics problems are presented. The text deals with differential and integral calculus with an extra focus on partial derivatives. Most of it is probably well known, but it is sometimes helpful to be reminded.
