Abstract
This chapter describes measurements in laboratory conditions and in selected power plants. The laboratory stand consisting of a GCd 84b synchronous generator (PN = 44 kW) and a DC separately excited motor driving the generator is presented. The measurement system used in the laboratory to record generator voltage and current waveforms for introduced steady state disturbances is also presented. This chapter also contains the description of measurements made in large system power plants.
