Abstract
There are times when it is difficult to decipher a cervical radiculopathy from other causes of upper extremity pain, such as carpal tunnel syndrome or double crush syndrome. In this chapter, we review the best available evidence to help the reader better understand and differentiate between these closely related pathologies. We describe an algorithm based upon clinical characteristics and electrodiagnostic features which will aid the reader in making the proper diagnosis and application of most effective management strategies.
