Abstract

I begin by explaining the reasoning behind the title of the work and the overall theme of the question of what it means to be human together with the existential menace that humanity is now (in the future) confronted with. The concept of the Anthropocene is introduced and how this relates to transhumanism in the context of Islamic authority. I then provide a brief outline of each chapter, not unlike what follows below.
