Abstract

All too often those in fields related to crisis management like to talk about the successful end to a crisis. That is not a position embraced in this book or chapter. In many instances, a crisis never ends for some stakeholders. These people suffer the trauma associated with their own injuries, other times the loss of loved ones establishes their contract with the crisis. Whatever the case, the trauma is real and can last a lifetime.
