Abstract

A number of tumors can affect the eyelids and orbit given the numerous histological components that compose their structure. The management of these lesions depends mainly on the type of tumor, stage at presentation, tumor location and patient factors. This could range from simple excision, complex resections and reconstruction to non-surgical treatments like radiotherapy. Accordingly the approach to these tumors requires an understanding of the behavior of the tumor and the different treatment options. The aim of this chapter is to highlight the surgical management from a surgical oncology perspective.
