Abstract

Organizations are facing changes on a daily basis. Modifications and restructuring are an obligation to continue competitive in the market. Project management best practices are in most cases the answer to help companies to be more competitive. Distinct business and companies require different approaches of methodology implementation. Understanding methodology focus and goals is essential. The main purpose of our work is to find a set of best practices from PMI, SCRUM, PRINCE II and SAP Activate methodologies, in order to further propose a new methodology to implement large SAP ERP projects in organizations.
