Abstract
This chapter describes a brief introduction of 16 case study villages and a specific study of the Mat River basin, Thiak, and Sialsuk villages. The brief introduction of the villages includes geographical information, socio-economic conditions, educational level, income level, and soil analysis along with a detail description of the three study sites.
