Abstract

This chapter focused on Turkish environmental law in practice, based on its implementation , compliance and enforcement . The methods of ensuring environmental implementation , compliance and enforcement aree analysed on the basis of environmental permits and licences, environmental impact assessment (EIA) applications and decisions, reporting , monitoring and inspecting systems, and administrative fines and suspension as tools of environmental enforcement .
