Abstract
The EU decision-makers face challenges in reaching the political agreement. The legislative decision-making now requires overcoming controversy and disagreement. Yet, in order to fully understand position, power, and important of each institution within overall structure, it is essential to examine how they work together and interact in the process of migration policy-making. The chapter discusses the extent and the characteristics of inter-institutional relations in labour migration policy process, raising the question of whether actors’ approach can be fully understood in cooperation and conflict building. The chapter deals with specifically with the interaction among the EU’s core institutions as they involve in legislative and executive functions, as well as in fundamental decisions.
