The purpose of this study is to identify prospective teachers’ perceived competence towards using assessment and evaluation methods. In addition, the study also aims to explore the problems that prospective teachers face when using assessment and evaluation methods. A total of 100 prospective teachers at their final year of studies at the Department of Early Childhood Education of a private university participated in the study.
