Abstract
Job satisfaction itself is said to be a strong predictor of organizational citizenship behaviour the assumption being that satisfied employees will display citizenship behaviour whereas dissatisfied employees will be reluctant to display their citizenship behaviour. The aim of the study was to understand whether a relationship between job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, and demographic variables exist amongst administrative staff working at a private university hospital using Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA). MCA was used because it is a useful tool to explore whether a relationship exist between various variables and illustrates how the variables are related as well as presenting statistical results both analytically and visually. Results of the study indicate that a relationship between job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, and demographic variables is evident.
