Abstract

Climate change is a hot topic and is discussed almost daily, often being the opening of television news, or the cover of generalist newspapers and magazines. This is an issue that has quickly become known to almost all citizens, thus creating unanimity regarding the existence of climate change. However, there are still negationist currents of thought, which present often unscientific arguments with which to argue. This chapter presents an introduction to the subject of climate change, highlighting the increase in CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere.
