Abstract
This chapter discusses the problem related to culture-bound terms, and how to deal with them. It also discusses the proposed strategies to deal with them. The chapter also discusses considers the problem of idioms and fixed expressions, with examples from English and Arabic. Collocations are also discussed in details, supported with examples. The chapter, moreover, explicates Pym’s typology of translation solutions.
