Abstract
The article deals with the interaction of time structure management of aluminum castings production and the efficiency of the production process. It highlights the need for effective management and regular monitoring of partial times of individual production operations that directly affect the efficiency of the entire production process using time frames. The evaluation of the time structure management impact on the production efficiency was based on the method of continuous study of time consumption. Based on a detailed analysis of the consumption times of each manufacturing operation, the critical points in the manufacturing process, that lower the production efficiency through unwanted downtime, are characterized. Based on the selected quantifiers, i.e., the use of the worker, the loss of time required to estimate the increase of the efficiency of production and the percentage of the total production time, which is undesirable in the process, is quantified. In the end of the article there is a general model of production process management, which takes into account the time consumption in the manufacturing company and streamlines the time management.
