Abstract
In order to solve the problems of safety, trust, inefficiency and traceability of pharmaceutical products in pharmaceutical supply chain, a pharmaceutical supply chain management system based on IoT and blockchain has been designed and developed. To ensure the authenticity of data sources, IoT devices such as radio frequency identification (RFID), sensors, locators and QR codes are used to collect the current status of pharmaceutical products at anytime and anywhere. At the same time, with the help of the distributed ledger technology of blockchain, the system has realized the sharing and storage of data in each link of the supply chain, and ensures that the data are transparent, traceable and not tampered with. Finally, the permission control method based on the consortium blockchain was designed to meet the privacy and confidentiality requirements of some data. According to the results of functional tests, the system effectively improves the transparency of data in the supply chain, increases the safety of pharmaceutical products, and reduces manual operation, so members of the supply chain can benefit from a more open information.
