Abstract
How is a national library to become capable of serving readers and non-readers alike? How can a national library convert non-readers into readers? These are some of the questions that Manguel addresses in this compelling chapter about his experience serving as Head of the National Library of Argentina.
Transcription of Presentation by Alberto Manguel at “Recording Lives: Libraries and Archives in the Digital Age” Forum, October 6, 2017. Hosted by the Boston University Center for the Humanities at the BU Law School Alumni Auditorium.
