Abstract

The present work proposes a simulator of the direction system of an agricultural tractor with the purpose of detecting and correcting operating errors that frequently carry economic and operative consequences in different companies. Therefore, the target of this work is to reduce the incidence rate of such errors by using the proposed simulator to give the operators an adequate training. This simulator is made up of a mechatronic structure that simulates the mechanical direction system, a bank of sensors of positioning of axis, strain gauges to detect forces of acceleration and deacceleration, a controller based on a reduced board processor and a visual interface that virtually shows the movements realized and the operation errors report. The operation guide made by the manufacturer was used as a reference for the validation of the simulator in order to verify if the system identifies clearly the errors typified in the documentation.
