Abstract
In order to manage and share the geological information of tunnel engineering in rock mass more effectively, data standardization is applied and extended in the study based on the structure of AGS4.0 (Document standard format, Version 4.0), which was proposed by Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS). By the data standardization, the geological information obtained on the entire life cycle of tunnel engineering is expressed and stored. Then a detail process of data standardization for the constructing period is presented. Taking the Yanjingwan tunnel from Guizhou province in China as an example, the data standardization of geological information as the strength of rock mass, the rock mass structure level, the condition of discontinuity, and so on, is compiled and marked out step by step. Moreover, several data standards for the geological information are added to satisfy the requirement of the tunnel engineering throughout the entire life cycle. Finally, an integrated system of data standardization is realized based on the SQL (Structured Query Language) server. The study establishes a theoretical basis and practical basis for the intelligent construction and information-oriented construction of rock mass tunnel engineering.
