Abstract
This article includes an experimental study of research in higher education. The experience has been carried out with the Systems Interconnection students of the Degree in Telematics Engineering of the University of Extremadura and describes how the teacher is able, with the help of the Associative Pathfinder Networks and their similarity test, to obtain, in real time, reliable information of the cognitive structure of his students according to a certain subject of study that is imparting. It is a practical application of the Theory of Nuclear Concepts of doctors Casas y Luengo. The basic objective is to be able to determine if it is possible to obtain information in real time from the assimilation that students have about the contents taught by the teacher during the instruction. For this, 6 concepts of the subject were chosen and with them an evaluation of similarity of concepts was made in three instants of the teaching-learning process, for each one of those instants of the instruction the average networks were calculated and these were compared with the network of science, obtaining a high similarity especially in the instant after the exam where you can see how the student group has assimilated the concepts under study.
