Abstract
Cancerous skin lesions are more difficult to diagnose in black skin. Skin cancer in particular occurs infrequently in black skin but is associated with increased morbidity and mortality, probably because of the rarity of these lesions in black skin and the rarity of these patients in most practices. The aim of this chapter is to aid providers in recognizing skin cancers in black patients.
