Abstract

Residency interviews can be a make-or-break situation. A good impression during the interview can be very helpful to get the desired residency program. Hence, it is very important to rehearse well for this important day before it comes. This chapter aims to highlight the various criteria necessary to ace the interview, mainly detailing effective communication skills, essential etiquettes, professionalism, and enthusiasm toward the program. We have also listed important questions that can be asked to the faculty and residents during the interview day. Along with this we have also tried to list a few things which the applicants should avoid during the interview day.
