Abstract

Every child has the right to a quality education. All children need access to quality education in an inclusive environment. Inclusive education is a process by which school respond to diverse needs of children through increasing participation in learning and reduce exclusion. This involves a series of substantial changes in terms of educational content, pedagogical and didactic approach, the structure of the education system and educational strategies. The successful implementation of inclusive education involves training for teachers. In the inclusive school, the students and their parents participate in setting learning goals and take part in decisions that affect them. The relationship between a school, students and their families is dynamic and interactive. The inclusive school develops collaborative relationships with parents and communities through communication, participation and consultative decision-making.
